The United Nations Association of Australia NT will be raising awareness about United Nations International Day of Peace at the Malak Marketplace on Saturday 21 September, 2019.
Please drop by the Bendigo Bank Community marquee to lend your support to our goal to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals and International Day of Peace. The 2019 theme is "Climate change for Peace".
In the lead up to the International Day of Peace on 21 September, the United Nations calls upon all to take action to tackle climate change (SDG No. 13). Every human is part of the solution - from turning off the lights to taking public transport, to organizing an awareness raising campaign in your community. What better place to promote this aim than the Malak Marketplace which has sustainability at the core of its operations and has significantly committed its management practises and stallholders to eco-friendly and sustainable development.
